Hello Fab, First Off I appreciate ALL yall do at PureMix in sharing this wealth of knowledge to us. (I'll send the check!) lol... Anyway, in regards to monitoring systems, what can a producer (like myself) who's working with a Mac Pro, Pro Tools MP9, and Firewire 410 Interface with Numark NPM5 monitors(as a Mobile setup) do to better my mixes and over-all recording? Thx (

We calibrate all our meters @ -18Dbfs = OdBVU = + 4 dBU (Because our converters are aligned @ -18dBFS) Write me @ for integration questions, I'll do my best to help out. Fab

Thanks for this excellent video. I'm considering the DM ST with Controller to replace my Presonus Central Station. Question, what do you recommend for the metering? Say, the Dorrough 40-A meter - how'd you integrate that in the chain - the system has a DAW with a 16-ch Folcrom summer, and of course the Mac's audio out. How would you calibrate the Dorroughs?
