Transfer Stems From Logic Pro To Any DAW

People are using several DAWs to make music. It’s a fact. And beautiful it is...

However, having to transfer your entire session from one DAW to another is not that easy a task (although it should be...) and can often turn into a terrible headache.

In this video Ben runs you through a specific workflow that will allow you to transfer your tracks (including instrument tracks !) from Logic to Pro Tools. Amen.

Just adding to my comment... The other way is to split to two mono tracks in Pro Tools and delete one. Again takes time. Would love to find automatic way to do this

Thanks! One thing I would have love to see is how to force Logic to export Mono stems as Mono. Perhaps I'm the strange one... But I want to keep tracks in the right width (1 or 2 channels). For example if a producer gives me a Rhodes track that was recorded with intricate stereo effects, I need to keep that. But I may want to remove stereo effects from the Vocal rough mix.The only way I've found is to remove all plugins in Logic, send the track to a mono output and then export. That works about 85% of the time... But not always, and it takes time. Any ideas?
